AFS Day of Service at the Alameda County Foodbank

Are you interested in linking worldwide problems with local action? If so, please join AFS Intercultural Programs in support of the Alameda Food Bank on Saturday, April 21st. This is a great way to make a difference in the fight against hunger right in our back yards and put in practice the ideals of community building that is at the core of AFS.

Saturday, April 21, 12:45 - 4 pm
Address: 7900 Edgewater Drive, Oakland
Please enter under the orange awning near the back of our building in the new Community Engagement Center.

If you can swing by to lend a hand, PLEASE rsvp to ahenry@afs.org whether you're coming or not, we need to let them know how many are coming that day.

Thanks so much and we hope to see you on the 21st!

My daughter was a camp counselor at this camp last summer. It is a really unique camp. What aRead More great experience for kids. I wish something like this was available when my kids were young. Parents should definitely check it out!!
