Leadership + Teamwork = WIN for the Highlanders

For those who braved the chilly wind on Friday night, they were treated to a 4th quarter come from behind win by the Piedmont Highlanders varsity football team. The final score was Piedmont, 28 - Moreau Catholic, 25. Senior Captain William Meredith led the Highlanders with two touchdown scores. To see video of Will's exciting scoring run up the sidelines and interview, go to http://www.playonsports.com/events/3872A.

The game was also highlighted by many outstanding plays by all members of the team. Teddy Heafey, Aaron Fahey and Kevin Garrett were fierce on defense; the D line was solid as a rock, Michael Tam and Charles Tuan made multiple offensive plays that were crucial to the win. Gavin Moscone, Brian Lee, Spencer Kim all did their parts.  And, of course, Ale Chioda's fabulous kicking made the difference in the final score.

My daughter was a camp counselor at this camp last summer. It is a really unique camp. What aRead More great experience for kids. I wish something like this was available when my kids were young. Parents should definitely check it out!!
