Sarah Lavender Smith has been awarded the 2011 East Bay Triple Crown Trail Championship for clocking the fastest cumulative time in the women's open division at the Tilden Tough 10, Lake Chabot Half Marathon and Woodminster X-C Trail 9-miler.
Christine Chapon, who won the championship in 2002, was runner-up in the 50+ division this year.
