Spring Cleaning Benefits Youth Mexico Trip

It’s hip to reduce and reuse, and now it’s so easy! Just donate and shop at the Piedmont-wide Treasures Sale.

First, reduce clutter and unused items by cleaning out closets, basements and garages. Bring your clean, gently used and working treasures to Piedmont Community Church, 400 Highland Ave., between March 3 and 8 (Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.).

The following items can not be accepted as donations: clothing, computers & equipment, ski equipment, mattresses, bed pillows, large appliances, extra-large furniture, Harlequin novels/condensed books, magazines, LPs and VHS tapes.

Then, discover exciting new-to-you treasures to reuse among the thousands of items organized and well-priced at the Treasures Sale March 10 and 11. Popular sellers include furniture, books, linens, house wares, jewelry, toys, crafts, home and fashion accessories, china, bikes, antique and vintage items and much more.

Each year, over 200 high school students travel to the Tijuana, Mexico area to build homes for families in need.  The Treasures Sale income is critical to purchase building materials and offset student travel expenses.

Treasures Sale – March 10 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and 11 (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.). No early sales - first come, first served. Please, no pets or strollers.

My daughter was a camp counselor at this camp last summer. It is a really unique camp. What aRead More great experience for kids. I wish something like this was available when my kids were young. Parents should definitely check it out!!
