UC Berkeley Law School Professor John Yoo will speak at a Republican Party dinner at 6 pm at the Villa Taverna in San Francisco. Yoo authored the "Torture Memos" while serving in the Bush Administration Justice Department. Bay City News reports that his appearance tonight is expect to draw critics of the domestic surveillance revealed by Edward Snowden.
