This is too steep and narrow to be anywhere in Alameda, so it might be a photo of a pic up on a wall somewhere, which is not entirely fair.... ;-)

Alana, it's part of the challenge. But yes, you are correct.. it isn't an actual alley :)

nope not an alley by the American definition ! but very much a street from an old towm , the {bridge between the house is something they built to give more structure integrity to house as they used lie as mortar , I would guess somewhere in Italy [north} or south east France I would be more incline to say france because they have done the same type of cheap old looking stule light fixture , it is a place were they see good anount of rain or snow due to the slope in the street , I am more incline to say Italy because of the "plantation style shutter" I am stuck on the bicycle and the metal "window guard" on the left which is hand forged and most likely around 300 years old . It is diffficult to judge or tell because both Italy and france use this style onlu diffference in france they set in in lead . . it could be anywhere .
