Parts of Piedmont Lose Power Tuesday Evening

PG&E restored power to about 1,500 customers after a two-hour outage.

Bay City News Service—About 1,500 PG&E customers in Oakland and Piedmont have had their power restored Tuesday evening after it was out for over two hours, a PG&E spokesman said.

The outage was reported at 5:12 p.m. and mainly affected customers in Piedmont and some in Oakland near the Trestle Glen neighborhood, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said. Power was restored at 7:25 p.m.

No cause for the outage has been determined, Guidi said.
