This Morning: 'Gardening is Dirty Business'

Start your day right with coffee, treats and the dirt about dirt at the Piedmont Garden Club's annual community meeting today, at 9:30 a.m. in Piedmont Community Hall.

From a Piedmont Garden Club press release:

The Piedmont Garden Club is inviting the public to its Annual Community Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 9:30 a.m. at the Piedmont Community Hall.

The speaker is Professor Toby O’Geen from UC Davis, a California soils expert, who will talk about soil health, how scientists measure the quality of soil, and how to use new online soil survey tools that can help gardeners determine whether their gardens are “growing healthy.”

This highly informative lecture is free and includes complimentary treats and coffee. Come and enjoy the morning with the Piedmont Garden Club and get the “dirt on dirt.”
