Piedmont city offices: Closed Dec. 24 and 25, Jan. 1.
Piedmont Unified School District: Winter break, Dec. 24-Jan. 4. District offices closed Dec. 25 (and possibly on Dec. 24), Dec. 28, Jan. 1-4.
Oakland public libraries (main library and all branches): Closed Saturday, Dec. 22, through Tuesday, Jan. 1.
Garbage service: No garbage pick-up Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Residents whose normal pick-up day is Tuesday through Friday will have service delayed by one day; normal Friday service will be on Saturday.
Piedmont Council Christmas tree lot: Sold out and now closed.
Alameda County offices, Alameda County Superior Court: Closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
State of California offices, federal offices: Closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Banks: Closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Stores, businesses: Varies.
