Boo at the Zoo

  • Boo at the Zoo is the Oakland Zoo's annual Halloween festival, with: a spooky boo train, costume parade, and show on how the animals at the Oakland Zoo celebrate Halloween. Mummy Dogs (hot dogs wrapped up to look like mummies) and Pumpkin Soup (flavored with African and Indian spices) will be sold.
  • There will also be Teddy Bear Check-Ups at the Bear Awareness table. Children can bring a teddy or purchase a new one at the sun bear exhibit. Proceeds from the check-ups benefit bear conservation.
  • Children dressed in costumes receive a free train ride.

There will be safety tips and treats from FedEx and Safe Kids on October 31st.  Boo at the Zoo is included with general admission.
