Challenger Commemoration at Chabot Space & Science Center

In 1986, the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded minutes upon liftoff, marking one of the greatest tragedies in space exploration.

Join us as we remember the fallen astronauts with a public event that includes tours of the Challenger Learning Center and a presentation in the briefing room.  There will be a moment of silence at 1 pm.

There are two times for this event: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
