Please find current movie showtimes here.

Come see a movie at Piedmont Cinema which first opened its doors in 1917 when it was still showing silent films. Operated by Landmark Theaters since 1994, the theater boasts three screens, comfy seats, and all the popcorn and candy you can eat.

Approximately once per month the theater shows the cult classic The Room at midnight. Look out for future showtimes.

On Saturday nights prizes from local merchants and film-related memorabilia are given away before each screening.

Hey hey! The Piedmont Theatre's general admission tickets are now $10.50 instead of $10. I hope there's no confusion.

You need to specify which theatre these movies are in. The main floor is fine, the second is ok, the third is a tiny joke. We base our attendance on which theatre the movie is playing... and listening to the tape recording is painful

Sorry about that Scott! I didn't post originally, but I do work there. Just to help you out: -We rotate the films throughout the week since the upstairs auditoriums are not handicap accessible and we want to give everyone a chance to see each movie. -The main floor (auditorium #1) sits 295 people, upstairs (#2 near the entrance) sits 114, and the other upstairs auditorium (#3 at the end of the hall) sits 117. Which one seems smaller to you? We usually tell people that they are pretty close to the same size. I believe that the screen size in number 2 and 3 are the same as well. I know that #3 seems bigger to me because it has a staircase that is part of the inside of the auditorium, where #2 does not. -Usually we'll put the most popular movie in the main floor during Friday and the weekend and then rotate the others downstairs mon-tues and then wed-thurs. To be sure what's playing where, you can check the day you want to visit's listing for the Piedmont on the Landmark Theatre website or call the recording. I'm sorry the recording is painful. I'll see what I can do about that. In the meanwhile you can always call the theatre directly at 510-985-1252. Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it. -
