The Oakland Jazz Festival

Bay Area Productions & KBLX 102.9 announce the inaugural Oakland Jazz Festival,Saturday July 23, 2011 at The Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estates in the Oakland Hills. The show begins at 12 noon. This all day music festival will feature food, fun and the some of the most popular artists in music today. KEM, Boney James, Will Downing, Lalah Hathaway, Ray Obiedo & The Latin Jazz Project, Lloyd Gregory, and The World Famous Rick and Russ Show are all scheduled to appear.

While Oakland has a rich history of music, what better way to showcase our beautiful City than with a World Class Jazz Festival at the scenic Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estates (nestled in the Hills of Oakland) the perfect backdrop for a musical day of Fun in the Sun. The Oakland Jazz Festival will also donate a portion of each ticket sold to help keep music programs alive for the youth of Oakland.

This is a general admission event. There are no reserved seats only lawn seating. Patrons should bring their own blankets, sleeping bags, and/or lawn chairs no higher than 9” tall for seats.

Food and Beverages will be available for purchase.
