The San Francisco Chronicle’s annual list of the 100 best restaurants in the Bay Area was predictably West Bay-centric. Only 10 percent of food critic Michael Bauer’s selections were in the East Bay. There are four in Oakland. Can you guess which ones? Here’s a hint: they all end in "O" and are all within a two-mile radius of Piedmont.
Commis should change its name to Commiso. What other Piedmont-area restaurants should have been on the list?
