Chron's Annual List of 100 Best Restaurants Has Two on Piedmont
We were surprised to note one Piedmont Avenue restaurant that was not on the list.
The San Francisco Chronicle’s annual list of the 100 best restaurants in the Bay Area was predictably West Bay-centric. Only 10 percent of food critic Michael Bauer’s selections were in the East Bay. There are four in Oakland. Can you guess which ones? Here’s a hint: they all end in "O" and are all within a two-mile radius of Piedmont.
Commis should change its name to Commiso. What other Piedmont-area restaurants should have been on the list?
