Free Coffee at Local Peet's on Christmas Eve

Consider using the money you save to make a contribution to the local charity designated at each Peet's outlet

Participating Peet's Coffee stores in the Bay Area will be serving free cups of brewed tea and coffee all day on Dec. 24. They include the Peet's stores at 3258 Lakeshore Ave., Oakland; 4050 Piedmont Ave., Oakland; and 2066 Antioch Ct., in Oakland's Montclair Village.

The gesture is to thank customers for making contributions to local charities. Peets has been collecting money for non-profit organizations since Dec. 17. Saturday, Dec. 24, is the last day for contributions.

Each store has chosen a non-profit organization to be the recipient of its fundraising efforts. Peet’s matches up to $1,000 of the customer contributions collected in each store.
