Piedmont Asian American Club announces donations from 'Piedmont Day' at sushi restaurants.

The impressive total was $2,820, all ticketed for relief of victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.

Those are the dollars reported by the Piedmont Asian American Club from the March 30 “Piedmont Day” at two popular restaurants in the Piedmont Avenue area and a club contribution as well.

“We sent the checks to the Japanese Red Cross in hopes that it will help the traumatic suffering the Japanese people are going through as they rebuild their lives after the earthquake and tsunami,” said PAAC Co-President Angela Hom, who thanked the owners of i and for their support.
