Grand Lake News: Food Trucks, Textiles Fair, New Restaurant on the Way

Tidbits about the Grand Lake business scene from the latest "Splash Pad Newsletter."

Gary Rizzo, the owner of Kwik Way and Somerset on College, has leased space for a new restaurant on Grand Avenue, Ken Katz reports in the latest issue of the Splash Pad Newsletter.

Also in this issue:

  • The Oakland Fiber and Textile Festival on Sunday at Splash Pad Park, with vendors and make-and-take booths.
  • A late-afternoon volunteer work day at Splash Pad Park on Saturday.
  • The Thursday evening "food truck pod" by the park each week.
