New Historic Wineries Tour of Napa Valley Includes Lunch, a Look at Beaulieu Residence

The price tag is steep, but lunch promises to be elegant and a rare look inside Rutherford House is included.

Five icononic Napa Valley wineries are scheduled to be on the two-day Napa Valley Historic Wineries Tour March 21-22.

Chateau Montelena Winery, Trefethen Family Vineyards, Far Niente WineryBeaulieu Vineyard and Del Dotto Vineyard will be included.

These wineries are the work of Hamden W. McIntyre, credited with designing the first gravity-feed wineries in the Valley.

Highlights include wine tastings and tours at all locations and unique dining experiences. The tour includes a visit to Rutherford House, Beaulieu’s grand residence, which is being opened especially for this tour.  

Lunch will be provided by two of the Valley’s renowned chefs.

Chef Christopher Kostow, with three Michelin stars, a rare four stars from the San Francisco Chronicle — and one of Food & Wine magazine's Best New Chefs — will host diners at the luxury resort Meadowood Napa Valley. 

Lunch will also be served at Del Dotto Winery by the executive winery chef, Joshua Schwartz, formerly with The French Laundry and Bouchon. 

Ticket price: $425 per person includes winery tastings and tours, transportation, and lunch. There's also a less expensive one-day option.
