Home sales in Piedmont during April were up 50 percent over the previous month

Home sales in Piedmont during April were up 50 percent over March 2012, but below the same month last year (18 sales in April 2011).

It appears offers came in briskly, as none of the homes sold was on the market for more than 22 days. Seven sold for more than the asking price, five for less.

A half dozen of the homes sold were listed at under $1,000,000, although the sales price for two of those was above the $1 million mark. The remainder had asking prices between $1 million and $2 million, with one selling for $2,220,000.
