Restaurant Watch: New Reviews of Homestead, Bourbon & Beef
Homestead on Piedmont Avenue continues to draw praise from local restaurant critics, but Rockridge's new Bourbon & Beef doesn't fare as well.

Bourbon & Beef, a new Latin-flavored restaurant at 5634 College Ave. in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood, doesn't fare as well at the hands of veteran restaurant reporter and critic Luke Tsai, who thinks prices are too high for the quantity and quality of the offerings.
