Splash Pad: New Grand Lake Businesses Opening
New food and drink, from full-service, upscale Cuban cuisine to Niman Ranch burgers, are coming to Grand and Lakeshore avenues. So is Good Vibrations.
New, expanded and renovated food and drink venues are coming to the Grand Lake business district, according to the latest Splash Pad Newsletter.
Among the highlights:
- Cana is having a soft opening for The Parlor, adding a full-service restaurant to the exisitng cafe. Cuban cuisine.
- Easy Lounge reopens Jan. 3 after a six-month hiatus.
- FlipSide will open in the former Adam's Burgers space, offering Niman Ranch burgers and other goodies.
- Chipotle will, eventually, open at the site if the City of Oakland approves its conditional use permit.
- And finally, Good Vibrations expects to open Monday, making Lakeshore a sexier street.
