A corner malt shop that had been in business for 33 years quietly closed last week.
The Montclair Malt Shop shut its doors last Tuesday, according to a story in The Contra Costa Times.
The shop's owner, Nemat Modarressi, told the publication sales were slow and he was having trouble renegotiating his lease.
The malt shop was located at the corner of Mountain Boulevard and Antioch Court.
