Sprouts & Shutters: Pizza Shop Opening

Little Star plans to open a pizza restaurant on Grand Avenue in Piedmont

A new pizza restaurant is opening on one of Piedmont's busiest streets.

The online newsletter Splashpad reports Little Star is opening its fourth restaurant in the Bay Area on Grand Avenue.

Little Star officials told Splashpad the restaurant will be its first with a full bar. They'll call it "The Star on Grand."

They plan to serve their traditional deep-dish Chicago style pizzas with cornmeal crusts. They also plan to expand their menu.

Little Star has two restaurants in San Francisco and a pizza parlor in Albany.

The new restaurant will be in the building that used to house Milano Ristorante at 3425 Grand Ave.

My daughter was a camp counselor at this camp last summer. It is a really unique camp. What aRead More great experience for kids. I wish something like this was available when my kids were young. Parents should definitely check it out!!
