The Best Burrito Near Piedmont Comes From ...
A close race among taquerias in Rockridge, Montclair and the Piedmont Avenue shopping district in this week's Readers' Choice 2012 poll
Rather like a horse race, three restaurants were bunched together ahead of the pack during this week's Readers' Choice 2012 poll for the best burrito within quick-lunch distance of Piedmont.
As they approached the finish line on Friday, one taqueria pulled ahead while two others tied for second place.
The winner? Cactus Taqueria on College Avenue, with 35 percent of the vote. on Piedmont Avenue and Taqueria Las Comadres in Montclair were the runners-up, each with 22 percent of the vote. Other choices trailed far behind.
