Tulips in Bloom at Mountain View Cemetery

The cemetery's annual tulip exhibition runs through Sunday afternoon

The Seventh Annual Tulip Exhibition at continues through Sunday, March 25. Weekend hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The exhibit showcases floral arrangements that feature tulips, created by Bay Area florists, garden clubs (including the Piedmont Garden Club) and college floral design classes. There's a floral arrangement demonstration each day at 1 p.m. in the Tower Chapel.

There are also thousands of tulips blooming on the cemetery grounds.

"Unfortunately the unusually warm weather followed by storms made them peak earlier than normal, but they're still gorgeous and should be OK through the weekend," says this article at Our Oakland.

Admission to the grounds and exhibit is free, and no reservations are needed.

For more information, visit the cemetery's website.

My daughter was a camp counselor at this camp last summer. It is a really unique camp. What aRead More great experience for kids. I wish something like this was available when my kids were young. Parents should definitely check it out!!
