What's Happening at Piedmont Avenue Art Walk Thursday

Combine shopping, art viewing, wine tasting and a bit of entertainment at the monthly event.

Stroll Piedmont Avenue this Thursday, March 21, between 6 and 9 p.m. and you could sample a new wine, hear accordian music and try for raffle prizes.

Those are among the highlights of this month's Piedmont Avenue Art Walk, according to an article on the Oakland Local website.

The art walk — also called the Piedmont Avenue Stroll — is sponsored by the Piedmont Avenue Merchants Association and is in its second year. More than 25 businesses between Pleasant Valley Road and MacArthur Boulevard participate regularly, offering art exhibits, entertainment, snacks and beverages.
