A 10 Second Smooch Yields Two Minutes of Poetry

Piedmont poet Arthur Weil is caught by the rapture of a kiss.

As Piedmont resident Arthur Weil reads his love poem, his thick accent hints at his past as a Jewish child rescued from the Holocaust. After living other lives as a U.S. soldier in World War II, a teacher, and a real estate broker, he became a poet about 10 years ago at the age of 74.
