New Zen for the Tea House

After extensive renovations, one of the most distinctive features of Piedmont Park has reopened.

Three tones of paint, luminous wood flooring, and newly fashioned shoji doors have brought out the details of the historic place of tranquility, which the Piedmont Beautification Foundation moved to the main park in 1974 to replace the original 1907 tea house torn down in the 1920s when the civic center was built. In the spring, the Parks Divison hopes to raise funds to replace the deck surrounding the tea house.

My daughter was a camp counselor at this camp last summer. It is a really unique camp. What aRead More great experience for kids. I wish something like this was available when my kids were young. Parents should definitely check it out!!
