Small Earthquake Recorded Near Oakland This Morning

At 2.1 magnitude, the quake was too weak for most people to feel

A magnitude 2.1 earthquake centered six miles southeast of Oakland, near San Leandro, struck at 6:22 this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was too light for most people in the area to feel.
