The Fifth Wheel

An old-school solution to a persistent problem.

In the 1950s, Piedmonters swung their Cadillacs out of the city's tight parking spots and narrow driveways by employing the spare tire. Driveways haven't gotten any wider nor cars much smaller since. Anyone wish their SUV had a fifth wheel now?
