11th Annual Piedmont Turkey Trot Race
The Turkey Trot is a 3 mile run/walk through the beautiful tree-lined streets of Piedmont. This event is the major fundraiser for the Piedmont High School Cross Country and Track Teams.
Over the past 10 years, it has become a treasured event marking the beginning of the holiday season for many families, neighbors and friends. Last year, more than 1,400 people participated.
Online registration at Active.com is due this year by Sunday November 18th. Long sleeve dry wick t-shirts will be provided to the first 1500 registered participants. The reward for those registering early is that they can pick up their 2012 Turkey Trot t-shirts and race bibs on Wednesday, November 21.
Coffee and hot cocoa to warm your pre or post race ritual is graciously provided by Highland Partners. Additional sponsors include Transports, Village Market, Clif Bar, Piedmont Post, Successful Applicant, Emergen-C and Dove.
