Alice in Wonderland themed silent auction to benefit Oakland's Libraries

Starting Sunday May 20th the Bookmark Bookstore in Old Oakland will have several Alice in Wonderland themed items up for sale and silent auction. The two silent auctions will include one elaborate doll house and a set of Alice in Wonderland figurines. Come celebrate Alice Liddell’s 160th birthday at the Bookmark by bidding on an item or buying an Alice book!

Alice Pleasance Liddell, born May 4, 1852, inspired the children’s classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, whose protagonist Alice is said to be named after her.
