More than 100 readers voted for their favorite pizza place in a Piedmont Patch poll published last week.
Of the pizzerias in Oakland's Piedmont Avenue, Montclair Village, Grand Lake, and Glenview neighborhoods, 32 voters (27 percent) had picked one-flavor-a-day as the best as of Wednesday, Aug. 3.
, which panders to Piedmonters with its hamburger- and green onion-topped "Piedmont Pizza" had placed second with 21 votes (17 percent). Swanky and organic were tied for third with 14 votes (11 percent) each.
, , Red Boy, and Lanesplitter had also garnered notable support.
