Armed, Masked Robbers Hit Grand Avenue Nail Salon

The robbers took jewelry and cell phones from customers and employees, as well as the business's cash proceeds.

Three masked men robbed Grand Nails, 3667 Grand Ave., Oakland at gunpoint on Wednesday evening, stealing customers' and employees' jewelry and smartphones as well as business proceeds, the Oakland Tribune reports.

Six employees and three customers were robbed during the 6:10 p.m. incident, but no one was injured, the Tribune article says.

A witness reported seeing the men drive away in a black Nissan sedan after the robbery, the article says.

The nail salon is located near the corner of Weldon Avenue. It reopened for business on Thursday, the Tribune says.
