Fire Department Starts Wildfire Training

No blaze at Blair Park Tuesday – just the Piedmont Fire Department getting a head start on its annual wildlands fire training

All those fire trucks and firefighters in Blair Park on Moraga Avenue Tuesday were getting a head start on their annual wildfire training, according to Piedmont Fire Chief Ed Tubbs.

Tubbs said the department will hold several more training sessions over the next two months or so.

"We started early this year because of the nice weather," he said.

My daughter was a camp counselor at this camp last summer. It is a really unique camp. What aRead More great experience for kids. I wish something like this was available when my kids were young. Parents should definitely check it out!!
