Bay City News Service—Multiple traffic collisions with at least one major injury occurred on eastbound state Highway 24 early this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
A solo-vehicle crash on state Highway 24, that occurred at the intersection with Broadway, just before the Caldecott Tunnel was reported at 5:52 a.m.
A two-vehicle accident that occurred on eastbound state Highway 24 was located just west of Claremont Avenue and reported at 5:56 a.m., according to the CHP. A Sig-alert was issued at 6:13 a.m. and the two right lanes of traffic on state Highway 24 were blocked.
At least one person was injured, with a possible broken jaw, according to a CHP officer.
