Oakland Police: Watch for This Tan Volvo Used in 2 Armed Robberies
Anyone seeing this Volvo with license plate number 5NDF073 is asked to contact Oakland police immediately.
Oakland police are asking people in Area 2 (Piedmont Avenue, Rockridge, North Oakland) to be on the lookout for a tan 2005 Volvo, license number 5NDF073, that was stolen at gunpoint Sunday.
The car has been used since then by suspects in at least two armed robberies in or near North Oakland and the Dimond district, according to OPD Lt. Christopher Bolton.
Civilians are asked not to approach the vehicle or its occupants if they see it but to alert Oakland police by calling 911. From cell phones, call (510) 777-3211 to be connected directly to the OPD emergency line.
