Oakland Police Release Photos of Man Suspected of Kidnapping, Sexual Assault

The Oakland Police Department would like to make the public aware of a kidnapping and sexual assault.

Investigators have released these photos of the person they believe to be responsible for committing a kidnapping and sexual assault that occurred in the 1800 block of San Pablo Avenue on March 25, 2014 at 2:10 p.m.

The suspect, a man, race unknown at this time, is described as being 25 to 35 years old, 5-foot-4-inches, 160 pounds with black hair. He was wearing a gray shirt, black vest and gray sweat pants.

On March 25, 2014, at 2:10 PM, the victim, a 27-year-old woman, was approached by a stranger from behind. The stranger grabbed her and began dragging her backwards while touching her in an inappropriate manner. The victim struggled and was able to get away and call the police.

Crime Stoppers of Oakland is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
