Pickup Driver Killed in Collision on Hwy. 13
The accident happened near Redwood Road early Saturday morning.
Bay City News—A driver was killed in Oakland this morning when he hit a tree in a pickup truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Shortly after 4 a.m., the male victim was traveling south on state Highway 13 and hit a tree just south of Redwood Road.
The Alameda County coroner's office responded to the crash at 4:38 a.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision is still being investigated and further information was not immediately available.
