Officer Kristina Foster and Officer Steve DeWarns received the Piedmont Police Department's Lifesaving Award at a ceremony and luncheon on April 17.
Foster was being honored for her quick actions in rescuing and providing first aid to a Piedmont youth.
DeWarns received his award for providing CPR to a Piedmont High School student with a medical condition until emergency medical personnel arrived.
