Police Release Photo of Suspect in Trestle Glen Burglary

The Oakland Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a burglary suspect.

The Oakland Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a home burglary in the Trestle Glen area near Lakeshore Avenue.

Here's the OPD press release: 

On February 2, 2013, during the day, a home burglary occurred in the Trestle Glen area not far from Lakeshore Avenue. The suspect entered the home and removed property. Prior to the suspect leaving the scene, a photo of the suspect was taken.

The suspect appears to be an African-American male with a medium complexion, 20 to 30 years old, 5’8”-5’9”, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black beanie, black T-shirt, black pants, and black shoes. After committing the burglary, the suspect fled with the stolen property in what investigators believe is a 1990’s Acura 4- door tan.

The attached photo shows the suspect after the commission of the 
crime.

The investigation is on-going and anyone with information is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department’s Major Crimes Section-Theft Section at 510-238-3951 or the TIP LINE at 510-777-2805.
