Surveillance Video Workshop for Homeowners

Piedmont residents are invited to a workshop on home surveillance video systems Saturday in Montclair.

Oakland's North Hills Community Association will hold a workshop on home video surveillance systems Saturday, June 30, 10 to 11:30 a.m., at , 5701 Thornhill Dr., Oakland.

Piedmont residents are welcome to attend the free workshop, according to the event organizers.

The program will include Oakland Police Department representatives talking about how surveillance systems have helped lead to the arrest of suspects in local burglaries and robbies. Residents from Oakland's Beat 13Y is discuss their experiences with video surveillance systems they have installed.

A Logitech Digital Video Security representative will demonstrate the company's systems and provide attendees with discount codes.
