Woman Found Fatally Shot In Her Car Identified
Melissa Martinez was discovered on Wednesday night in the 10500 block of Acalanes Drive.
A woman who was shot outside her home in East Oakland on Wednesday
night has been identified by police as 21-year-old Melissa Martinez.
Police said Martinez was found shot in her car at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday in the 10500 block of Acalanes Drive.
She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead about a half-hour later, authorities said.
Oakland police are not releasing any information about suspects in the shooting or a possible motive.
