Budget Advisory Committee Meets Tuesday
The agenda includes a review of the Piedmont police and fire pension plan.
Piedmont's Budget Advisory and Financial Planning Committee will meet Tuesday, April 9, at 7 p.m. in the conference room at City Hall, 120 Vista Ave.
The agenda includes:
- Sewer Update
- Pension Update: a. AB 340 California Public Employees' Pension Reform Act of 2012 (PEPRA) b. Review Municipal Code Chapter 26 – Piedmont Police & Fire Pension Plan
- Review City’s Actuarial Valuation as of June 30, 2012 for Retiree Medical 4. Discussion of how the Budget Advisory Committee communicates recommendations to the City Council
- Correspondence regarding the City’s Business Tax on Rental Property
The meeting is open to the public but will not be broadcast on KCOM-TV, the city's public access channel.
