Council to Hold Hearing on Community Pool

Also on Monday's agenda: creation of a budget advisory committee and a new public safety committee

The Piedmont City Council will hold a public hearing on the 2012-2013 Piedmont Community Pool fee schedule and hours of operation during its meeting on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 120 Vista Ave.

The Piedmont Recreation Commission held public hearings on the pool proposals Jan. 18 and Feb. 15 and has approved recommendations for City Council consideration. Background information for these two meetings, including the staff reports and meeting minutes, are available for review on the city
website, www.ci.piedmont.ca.us.

The staff report for this meeting, which will detail the recommendations of the Recreation Commission and the staff, will also be available for public review on the city website by 9 a.m. on Friday, March 2.

Copies will also be available for review at the Office of the City Clerk at Piedmont City Hall, 120 Vista Ave.

Public comment is encouraged at the March 5 hearing, particularly from pool
pass holders and regular swim pool clients. Written comments may be submitted to the Piedmont City Council in care of John Tulloch, City Clerk at jtulloch@ci.piedmont.ca.us or by mail to 120 Vista Avenue, Piedmont, CA 94611.
