Commuters riding on state Highway 13 in Oakland are advised to drive cautiously as crews work on removing some tress, beginning this morning, March 18, Caltrans officials said.

Crews will begin tree removal along northbound Highway 13, between Redwood Road and Moraga Avenue, at about 9 a.m., according to Caltrans officials. Select trees will be removed from various points along the northbound stretch of the road to ensure drivers' safety and maintain roadway operations, officials said.
