Last Day to Register for Piedmont Election
Voter registration closes today, Jan. 23, for the Piedmont Municipal Election on Feb. 7. Vote-by-mail ballots are available until Jan. 31. And you may have a new polling place.
The deadline to register to vote for the Feb. 7, 2012 City of Piedmont General Municipal Election is Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, according to the Alameda County Registrar of Voters. If you need to register, you can find instructions here.
If you plan to vote by mail, you have until Tuesday, Jan. 31, to request a mail-in ballot. See vote-by-mail information here.
And if you normally vote at Beach Elementary School, your polling place will be different this year because ofthe school contruction project. You will most likely be voting in person at the , 401 Highland Ave., but check your sample ballot to make sure. You can also find your polling place at the Alameda County Registrar of Voters website.
