Oakland Branch Libraries Closing for Holidays

The Oakland Main Library and all branches will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 1.

The Oakland Main Library and all branch libraries will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 22, through Tuesday, Jan. 1, library officials have announced.

The closure is ecause of the holidays and citywide budget cuts, according to the announcement.

Normal libary hours will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
