Park Commission Meets Wednesday

The commission will hear updates on several current projects.

The city's Park Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall council chambers, 120 Vista Ave.

On the agenda: updates on the proposal by Eagle Scout candidate Cole Becker to build a footbridge in Dracena Quarry Park (to be considered by the Piedmont City Council on June 3); the Ramona-Ronada TRiangle project; and the "Light the Lantern" and landscaping for the Lower Grand entry pillar.

Public Works Supervisor Dave Frankel will provide an update on recent park and street tree maintenance activities.

The meeting is open to the public.
