What's the Oldest Home for Sale in Piedmont?

Check out this five-bedroom home that's almost 90 years old.

There's an old saying, "They don't make 'em like they used to."

With that in mind, we thought on this week's real estate installment we'd look at the oldest home we could find that was for sale in Piedmont.

This one is a five-bedroom, five-bathroom house at 271 Crocker Ave. The three-story home was built in 1924.

It sits on a small lot and is 5,887 square feet. The home was listed as selling for $3.4 million and indeed it was purchased recently.

My parents sold their home in Piedmont in 2007. It was build in 1906 and was 101 years old! They lived there for 41 years!

This is NOT a posting about historical houses; this is a blatent attempt by a PATCH sub-contractor to list a Caldwell-Banker agent. The only way to make this poster stop is to contact Caldwell Banker and voice your disapproval.
